Description

A newly bought house was to be renovated in a span of 75 days for a family of 5 members before their son's marriage.

Rooms as per purpose

Drawing room, Lobby cum Dining room, Kitchen, Parents room with attached Bathroom, Master bedroom for newly wed with Dresser area and Bathroom, Son's room with Bathroom adjoining to Guest Bathroom, Guest bathroom, Back balcony to be converted into Washing area and Storage.

Limitation

Flooring to remain the same except for bathrooms and master bedroom, walls to be treated with paint finish, minimal designing.

Drawing Room

The existing partition between drawing room and lobby was dismantled into a side partition. The partition is straight lined, modern and gives better connectivity.

The drawing room is further separated into two different seating arrangements through false ceiling.

Kitchen

The kitchen was converted into open modular kitchen made out of MDF boards in high gloss finish by Alvic. The fittings are by Haffele and the counter top is quartz . 

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is further segregated into three areas through its false ceiling. i.e. the wardrobe at the entrance, the bed and front unit in the center of the room and dressing table in the corridor. The color palette revolves around hues of beige and brown. The bathroom has rustic highlighters and floor tiles which matches to the ambience of the bedroom.

Parents Room and Guest Room

A color scheme of white,grey and silver is chosen with PU finish on wardrobe, dresser and front unit. The bed and vanity unit in the bathroom is purchased from market. The Guest Room has the mandir of marble. The false ceiling is oval shaped giving a larger look to the room.

Son Bedroom

The son's bedroom has the wing bed while the color scheme is dark walnut and red. The false ceiling is inspired by simple shape of a square. A set of two small squares highlights the front unit while the bigger square is over the bed. The bathroom tiles are in grey monochromatic color scheme while the false ceiling is simple.
