DESCRIPTION –

A renovation project for one of the popular cafes of south Delhi. The layout was completely changed. At the window a long sofa seating was put. The bar was moved to center to make it more engaging.

All the walls were painted grey to give a neutral background with

mirrored glass bar and arcs covered with black metal mirrored frame to make the wall stand out.

The flooring with fishbone pattern gives texture and depth to the space. The center of the ceiling with ceiling air conditioners and beams

running was packed with mirorred glass acrylic sheet and the ac’s were painted black.

The beams which were covered with light color veneered plywood was given a mahogany finish.

Pendant lights highlighting the bar was proposed to the client.

Alongwith track lights for ceiling light.

I proposed a lit signage of cafe ‘One Oak’ on the wall which gives a glamour quotient.

The project was for design consultancy where the client got the

execution done from his own team and as per his timeline.
